St. Petersburg officials will be transferred to domestic cars a year earlier. The time frame for purchasing vehicles has shifted from 2026 to 2024–2025.

It is still unknown which brands of domestic cars will be purchased. Now officials use Mercedes-Benz of various classes and years of production, the price of which can vary from 8 to 10 million rubles.

Let us recall that the idea of ​​transferring officials to domestic cars was put forward by Russian President Vladimir Putin. He recommended that they abandon their foreign cars and use Russian Ladas. At the same time, officials were presented with a choice.
